Does this happen to you? You meet with a new client and you identify a laundry list of all the things they’re doing “wrong” that are contributing to their imbalances. You’re sure they’ll feel better and start healing if they stop doing the wrong things and start doing the right things.

But, hopefully you know that you can’t ask them to change everything at once! Otherwise, you’ll overwhelm them, potentially imbalance them, probably never see them again, and you won’t be able to help them heal. 

So, how do you know where to start? How can you identify what your clients’ limitations are and meet them where they’re at? How do you choose which herbs to give them and when? And how can you inspire them actually put it all into action?

This is exactly what we’re going to practice in this online, interactive workshop! You’ll strengthen your skills as an Ayurvedic professional, become more confident in creating protocols, and get better results with your clients.

Creating the perfect protocol

  • How to structure your written recommendations

  • Deciding which recommendations to give now and which to give later

  • Working with your client’s dietary and cooking limitations

  • The most important foods to have your clients avoid in common conditions

  • Why the dosha diet isn’t a good idea

  • How to avoid overwhelming your client

Building your herb confidence

  • Why and when to recommend ghritams, lehyams, kwathams, gulikas, aristhams and asavams, typical dosages and tips for their proper intake

  • How to know when to give herbs (before or after food, etc.) to increase their efficacy

  • Combining various herbal formats to create the perfect protocol

  • How to match herbal formulations with samprapti

  • Knowing when to change the herbal protocol

Delivering the protocol

  • What to do if you need more time to decide on a protocol

  • Working with your clients’ mental prakriti when designing and delivering a protocol

  • How to talk to vatas, pittas and kaphas

  • Scheduling followups for client success

You’ll receive a lot of information in this workshop, but you’re also going to put it into practice as we go! The workshop includes:

  • Small group breakout sessions and exercises

  • Real life case studies

  • Personal feedback on your practice protocols

  • You’ll receive a Certificate of Completion after the course. The course is approved for 4 NAMA PACE credits!

  • This workshop is meant to be joined live. It will be very interactive, and you’ll get the most from it if you can take part in these exercises. However, if you absolutely can’t join live, you can access the recording which will be emailed to you after class
